My play on the the daily sketch prompt 'siren'.
I could have sworn that there were daughters of Osse, or Ulmo, or something like that from the Silmillarion but I'm limited by my books here about that knowledge. So in the meantime, they are just Maia of the oceans, singing their songs to the Teleri in their white ships as they go by.
Done in about a half hour or so.
All things lord of the rings belong to J.R.R. Tolkien and Middle Earth Enterprises. Only the image belongs to me.

Elves could sing images into the heads of those who listened, and the Ainur could literally sing things into being. I can imagine that a Maia singing would be very disorienting to the sailors. 
Judging by the size and sail design of the ships, they aren't built for the open sea. Is this close to the coast of Valinor?
